what can I use for card making that will scratch off like an instant lottery ticket?

I am trying to make invitations for a birthday party and I want to make them like a lottery ticket, where you have to “scratch and win” I saw it in a card making book once but I cannot find what they used to make the scratch off part.

    You could try to google search the topic. I found a software that may help you with your tickets. BTW: cool idea!! Just go to And btw: I THINK its a lower clase “L” before the “T” =0P

    my friend did somethin like that once!? wut did she use again?… o ya! u take the peice of papre right the 1 ur gonna use and u can do 1 of 2 things: 1 use candles or crayons and use a hand pencil sharpener and grind the color(s) u want them 2 scratch on it then put a peice of wax paper over it and iron it -OR- like boil the wax so its liquidy and let it cool 4 like 1 min then pour it on the paper and let it dry but the 1st 1 works better :)
