I know the chance of winning the lottery are slim but I was just curious how come the amount of money we can win hasn’t decreased? Sorry if this seems like a dumb question but I was just thinking about that at work while one of my co-workers was doing their scratch off. I live in NJ if it makes any difference.
Wasn’t sure where to place this question.
*Does the state of the economy affect the lottery?* I forgot to delete the second “doesn’t” sorry.
not really
cause that lottery money comes from the people who buy the tickets
cause if a million people buy a dollar power ball ticket, then thats where u get the multi million dollar powerball
cause like states have their own scratch offs, so i dont think so
the worse the economy , the less tix bought , the smaller the prize!!
