Should you give a tip to the person who sold you the winning scratch-off ticket ?

jazcy asked:

Not the Lottery but stratch-off ticket, $500 bucks? Please answer for my friends and I are unsure. Some say yes, most say no. HELP!
The person who sold me the ticket is the store owner. However, he is the only person I buy Lottery tickets or stratch-off tickets from.

maybe 50 $ would be nice if the clerk has always been nice to you when your in there. whats the customer service like.

No, not on $500. Maybe if it were $10,000 or more and they gave great service. But on $500, definitely not.

It is not customary to give a tip to the store employees. The store owner already gets money from lottery sales.

I would buy lots of things from his store just to show my appreciation.
