if i scratch of the PIN covering on my gamestop edge card, can i still use it at the stores?

i want to pre-order littlebigplanet of gamestop.com, but im afraid that if i do i cant use it at the store anymore, i wouldent be scared if i only had i litle bit, but i have 324 bucks! i got 400 dollars today, and i was only expecting about 150, about, so any ways,if i do scratch of the seal, will it be no good anymore?!?!?!?!? i need to know.

the card will work in stores and online until you have no money on it
of couse you’ll be able to still use it at stores. they just need to scan the card’s bar code and swipe the card at the black line.
