It says i’ve won flights from UK and 6 nights accommodation and there is a 75pound refundable deposit at time of booking.
I’d easily pay 75pound for two to go to Italy for 6 nights but is it worth it?? Any catches i should be wary of?
I had to text to reveal my prize which cost 9 pounds!!
Thank you
this ‘prize’ has already cost you £9, and you are expected to pay another £75?! its a scam my friend, take it to trading standards and ask their advice. mine would be to save your money. DO NOT give out your credit card details.
Sounds like Timeshare in disguise to me. Won a similar holiday a few years ago to Ibizia out of season. Most people say to avoid these things like the plague, but if it is timeshare, then it isn’t always bad. We had a fabulous holiday because they are always going to put you in good accomodation, because they are trying to sell it to you.As long as you are firm ( the best strategy is to tell them, once you are there, straight off, that there is no possible way you can afford to do it.) I have heard horror stories of constant pestering, but did not find this to be so. We were honest straight out, that we could not in a million years afford it, and we were left to enjoy a lovely weeks holiday in luxury accomodation. Telephone the company, and ask who they are, then google it on line. Do not part with ANY more money, unless you know who they are, and have researched online other customers who have taken the holidays. The internet is a useful tool.
You will never see your 75 pounds again, nor Italy. At least not for that price. If it is “legitimate” then your booking will require you to go to session wherein they will put a high-powered hustle on you to purchase a timeshare. Kiss your 9 goodbye and forget about it.
